The Lancaster Arts Partners (LAP) are hosting two Get-Together zoom networking events for creatives in the Lancaster & Morecambe district.

We’re all going through a very disconnected time right now, and we hope these Get-Together meet-ups will be an opportunity to reconnect, check-in and share experiences with other creatives before the world opens up again.

We’d love for you to join us at either one of the two events, which are being held on zoom on:

After a short welcome from the folk at LAP, we will break into small groups to discuss“Where are you at in your practice?”, “Do you have any current projects or plans?”, “Have you made any positive discoveries during the pandemic that you will take forward in your practice?”.

We will then re-group to consider what would help you in your practice right now? and what might a Lancaster and Morecambe district arts community response to people’s experience of loss in the pandemic look like?

And just so it’s not all talk, the events will finish with a fun 20-minute distraction from international quiz guru Kriss Foster.

Please have a think through the 3 discussion points ahead of coming and also make a quick “Who are you and what do you do board” to hold up in front of your zoom camera in the first discussion.

Notes from each group discussion will be distributed to all attendees and LAP will look to take some discussions and actions forward in support of the local creative community.

N.B. Instructions for joining the zoom session will be mailed out nearer the date.

Please share the events on your social media with other local creatives.
