Lancaster Arts – Dive into our new Season!

Swimming Home

Lancaster Arts are delighted to open our new season on Water with Swimming Home, Silvia Mercuriali’s unique online aural show featuring you as the swimmer!

Swimming Home brings a fully immersive theatre experience into your home, transforming your bathroom into a filmic water-world. Standing in your bathroom, wearing a swimming costume, goggles and some headphones, you are led through a journey of rediscovery of your relationship with water as you prepare to enter your bath (or shower).

“Swimming Home … urges you to let go and float away.”
★★★★ The Stage

May Contain Food

Introduced by choreographer Luca Silvestrini and composer Orlando Gough, May Contain Food is Protein’s popular and witty piece of dance and music theatre inspired by social occasions and life at mealtimes.

Sit back, follow the performers and relish in the food, just like the audience in the recording, as you explore your relationship with eating for a very unique ‘night in.’

When you book you’ll be sent a recipe card to create your own tasting menu for this immersive dance show.

“Lip-smacking fusion of song, dance, mime and sweet aperitif tomatoes.”
★★★★ The Guardian
