LAP members King Street Arts were featured in a new podcast yesterday on the Morecambe Bay Podcast channel. In the podcast episode “Hidden Depths”, interviewer Nigel Thompson spoke to gallery co-director Roy Smith and Heysham-based poet John Hindle, about their current exhibition, which features paintings by Silverdale artist John Baldwin and poems inspired by the paintings by John Hindle.

“Hidden Depths” is the result of a three-year collaboration. Baldwin’s extraordinarily vivid paintings are brought further to life when viewed through 3D glasses, whilst Hindle’s words compliment them beautifully.

You can listen to “Hidden Depths” here and you can visit the exhibition also called “Hidden Depths” at King Street Arts in Lancaster, until 19th of August. The gallery is open daily from 11 – 5pm except 7th – 10th August when it will be open from 12 – 5pm, closed Sundays.
