Lancaster City Council
Lancaster City Council is currently seeking a highly motivated, skilled, and enthusiastic individual to join the busy event management team at The Platform live entertainment venue in Morecambe, and where necessary to support events, at other Council venues, including facilitating, supporting and delivering a comprehensive programme of events indoors and outdoors, safely and successfully.
Experience in contributing to managing an entertainment venue, dealing with artists and supervising/directing staff is essential and you must also have the ability to work as part of a team and on your own initiative, prioritise tasks and move and set up equipment.
We are looking for someone with knowledge of event logistics and it would be desirable if you had basic knowledge of sound and lighting equipment.
The post holder may also be requested to work at other Council commercial properties, as well as supporting the delivery of the Council’s outdoor events programme.
