Vacancy – Production Assistant
Salary: £23,581- £25.433 pro-rata
Hours: 0.82fte / 30 hours per week

We are excited to be recruiting a key member of our team for the delivery of our creative programme. You will be at the centre of our public facing programme ensuring that the nuts and bolts of what happens behind the scenes are all working smoothly. This unique post will support the whole team, assisting with operational and logistical tasks, as well as volunteer recruitment, training, and coordination.
Lancaster Arts is a combined arts organisation of Arts Council England’s national portfolio, and we think that this is a fantastic role for someone wanting to strengthen their production skills across all art forms. The role will need a working knowledge of the practical, delivery needs of a public facing arts organisation and an understanding of at least one art form in some depth. It requires enthusiasm and strong relational skills, a commitment to the arts and high-quality delivery, with an ability to learn quickly. You will also be someone who can develop with us, as we explore further opportunities together.
This is a fixed term position funded by Arts Council England and currently runs until 31 Mar 2026, with a likely extension to 31 Mar 2027.
