King Street Studios Open Call Reminder for ART<120 at King Street Studios from 6th to 23rd December 2019

ART<120 6th to 23rd December 2019
We would like to invite you to submit up to five artworks, which can be 2D wall-mounted or 3D in nature with a selling price of less than £120.
Submission deadline is midnight Sat 16th November.
We will be operating our usual opening times of Friday to Saturday, 11am – 5.30pm, and we will be open every day 16th to 23rd December.
If you are interested in participating in this event, please confirm by emailing us the following:
- Your name and contact phone number
- Number of works
For each piece of work we need:
- Title of each piece
- Type of work, (painting, sculpture etc)
- Dimensions (including any frame)
- A jpeg image with the artist’s initials and title in the file name. The image must include any frame.

If we have too much work for the space available these images will form part of our selection process; this will not be undertaken until all artists have registered and their submission fees received.
2D Work: original paintings and drawings, creative photography and original handmade prints: max size 60cm x 60cm including frame.
All work for displaying on the gallery walls must be original work, or high-quality prints of work, produced by the submitting artist, and not already been displayed in our galleries previously. Work must be framed (no clip frames) and ready to hang with 2 x D rings and cord positioned 25% down from the top edge of the frame; work on canvas doesn’t need to be framed but still needs D rings and cord.
3D work: sculpture, ceramic, wood, etc should be primarily art and not craft based and be adequately labelled. Max footprint 40cm x 40cm
Please clearly label each work with artist name, title, medium, and selling price concealed on the reverse or base (if practicable).
By entering a work, each artist confirms that they hold all intellectual property rights in the work and that they agree to their work being reproduced in King Street Studios promotional materials, the press, and other media.
Submission fees are payable at the time of submission and before the 16th November.
The submission fee is 5% of the sale price for each work.

25% commission on any sales (20% for King Street Associate members)
There will also be an opportunity for artists who are in the main exhibition to submit additional works such as greeting cards, postcards and prints. Mounted, unframed works and giclee prints will be displayed in browsers. These must be backed with card, wrapped in cellophane and labelled as above.
There is no submission fee for these but there will be 30% commission on sales (25% for King Street Associate members). This same commission arrangement also applies to any cards and postcards.

You may choose to arrange your own insurance for your work (optional), as although King Street Studios will take every care with your work, we cannot be held liable for loss or damage.
