I really liked how Ginny Kopenhol’s photos embrace the personality of the people captured within it. I loved how colourful and creative it was. I was interested by the different styles of photos.
I liked how it was based in Morecambe, because it brings out the creativity of Morecambe. Ginny Kopenhol’s work is unique, intriguing, expressive and bright. I loved how colourful and personalised it was.
I particularly liked the picture of Bethany because the radiant blue of her hair just pulled all the attention. I also think that the way the photo was taken is amazing as Ginny managed to catch the light perfectly so you can see the water flowing and you can see the reflection of the sun on the sequins. Its also beautiful to look at because the water and the blue of her hair just brings out the sparkling blue in her eyes.
When looking at the exhibition it inspired me to dye my hair a vibrant blue which I have gone on to do. This exhibition and their use of vibrant bright colour is something that I will go on to bring into my photography (though my subjects are different). I was also inspired by her value for creativity and individuality in people.
