An invitation to join the Creative West End Network launch on Weds 25th March 6-9pm at More Music.

The Creative West End is a locally rooted partnership comprised of LAP members The Exchange Creative Community and More Music together with West End Morecambe (WEM),

Film Morecambe, The ReStore, and local residents seeking to build collaboration and driving community-led creative change across the West End. We are a voluntary, community-run group of residents, artists and creative organisations; working together for the benefit of our community.

Based on lots of feedback we’ve identified 4 areas where we think we can make a difference together, and start working to deliver projects that will help us do this:

1) A Creatives Network,

2) A Creative Market,

3) A Creative Hub, and

4) Creative Projects.

Hopefully you’ve come across the new Creative West End Market (something we hope to be much more than a market) and we’re also supporting The Exchange CIC and investing in a new creative community enterprise hub. This is just the beginning. To bring things to life, this needs us all involved as it gets going. So the next step for us is starting the new Creative West End Network.

A chance for our creative community, its friends and supporters to get involved and work together to make our area a better place to live. We want the network to become a place for building connections, sharing ideas, learning together, and initiating some epic projects for the West End.

If you’re interested in finding our more, and getting involved then please come along to the network launch event.

This will take place at More Music on Wednesday the 25th March, starting with food at 6pm and kicking off properly at 7 – 9pm.

As a network, we’ll have regular get togethers with time to share food and ideas with each other and hopefully get some inspiring things happening as it gets off the ground.
